The service

ProxyNest provides a free directory of public proxy servers and a free JSON API. The service is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. Proxies are third-party public servers we do not own or control.

Free means free

There is no payment, no account, and no login anywhere on ProxyNest. If anyone asks you to pay for "ProxyNest premium", it is a scam and not us.

Your responsibilities

Use proxies lawfully. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your country and the terms of any site you visit through a proxy.
Prohibited: using the site or API for illegal activity, attacking other systems, spamming, or scraping ProxyNest itself at abusive rates.
Do not rely on free proxies for anything critical. They die without warning; see our Disclaimer.

API fair use

The public API is free without a key, subject to fair-use rate limits (currently 60 requests per minute per IP). Exceeding the limit returns HTTP 429. Sustained abuse may lead to temporary IP blocks.

Changes and removal

We may change, suspend, or remove any content or feature at any time without notice. We may also remove comments that are spam, abusive, or illegal.
