Free proxy list
Thousands of free HTTP proxies, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 proxy servers from 80+ countries. Our checker re-tests the free proxy list around the clock. Filter by protocol or country, ping any row to verify it live, and export your picks as TXT, CSV or JSON. Rows marked TESTED passed a real speed check. The rest are untested.

HTTP vs SOCKS4 vs SOCKS5: which proxy type do you need?
Not all proxies do the same job. HTTP proxies are built for web browsing. Point your browser at one and sites load through it. SOCKS4 is older. It still works, but there is no authentication and it handles fewer kinds of traffic. SOCKS5 is the modern all-rounder: any kind of traffic, authentication support, and usually the fastest pick for apps, streaming, and gaming. Not sure? Start with SOCKS5, and use the protocol tabs above to filter this list.
How to use a free proxy in 60 seconds
- Pick a proxy from the table with low latency and a recent TESTED badge.
- Copy its IP address and port with the Copy button.
- On your phone: Wi-Fi settings → proxy → manual, then paste them in. In a desktop browser: settings → network/proxy settings.
- Load a page. Slow or dead? That is normal with free proxies. Just grab the next one.

Proxy list FAQ
Are these proxies really free?
Yes. Every proxy on this page is free to use. No signup, no paywall. ProxyNest is free while we grow; we may add discreet ads later to keep the servers running.
Why do so many free proxies stop working?
Free proxies get shared by thousands of people, abused, blocked, or simply switched off by their owners. Our checker re-tests the list around the clock and drops entries that keep failing. But some dead ones always slip in between checks. That is the nature of free.
Is it safe to use a free proxy?
For casual browsing, yes, with rules. Never log in to banking, email, or important accounts through a free proxy. Stick to HTTPS sites and do not download files through one. Read the full breakdown in Are Free Proxies Safe?
Can I use this list in my own app or script?
Yes. Our free API serves the same data as JSON, and you do not need a key.
